Get Reel weekend session

Get Reelers Moira, Colin, Adrian, Jo and Richard travelled to Crianlarich for a weekend of walking and music sessions on Friday and Saturday 23/24th April at the Ochils Mountaineering Club cottage. We were joined by some of the Ochils club members including Elke, Sheila, Ian and Jim so we had a good mix of guitars, whistles, fiddles, ukeles and a bhodran.

Both Friday and Saturday evening sessions were great and led by Sheila Airth's excellent fiddle play. On Saturday Adrian completed a 100 mile cycle run and the rest of us enjoyed a walk up Ben Challum in good weather. Saturday evening began with a meal in the Crianlarich Hotel - highly recommended.

All in all a most enjoyable weekend. Thanks go out to Ochils Mountaineering Club for the hire of their very comfortable club cottage in Crianlarich and for their company.
