GET REEL NEWSLETTER NOVEMBER 2010

KIDS GROUPWORK - TUESDAYS 16th NOVEMBER AND 23RD NOVEMBER -4.40-5.20pm
There will be a groupwork class for these 2 Tuesdays from 4.40-5.20 pm. Please could you try and make arrangements for your child to come along to this before or after their normal class. If your child normally has class at this time their class will run as usual unless the tutor decides the class join in the groupwork for some of the time. The aim is to get as many of the kids playing tunes together and we really hope they will be keen to come along and play with the big Get Reel group at the start of the concert/ceilidh on the 27th November. NO KIDS CLASSES TUESDAY 9TH NOVEMBER - this is an inservice day and the kids are off till 8th - 10th.

EXTRA SESSIONS

SUNDAY 14TH NOVEMBER 3-5PM
 The Killearn Village Hall has been booked from 3-5pm for people to meet up and play as well as practice sets for the concert. Please come if you can!

ST ANDREWS CONCERT AND CEILIDH - SATURDAY 27TH NOVEMBER KILLEARN VILLAGE HALL
Our annual St Andrews Concert and Ceilidh with Ruaridh Campbell and friends doing the ceilidh with Get Reelers playing the first spot. Please support this event and bring along your family and friends as it is one of our 2 main fundraising events in the year. Tickets only £5 for adults and kids go free. Get Reel will be running the raflle and the bar. The Tolbooth are supporting the event through funding from Events Scotland.

AFTERNOON SESSION ( tbc)  3-5pm,                     

SOUP , PIES etc ( tbc)
GROUP REHEARSAL 6-7PM
SOUNDCHECK 6.45PM
RAFFLE - PRIZE DONATIONS PLEASE
We are looking for donations for this as the main fundraising element of the night for Get Reel.

LAST NIGHT OF CLASSES
30th November  - parents are welcome to come into class for the last 10 minutes to hear progress.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
30 November 2010, Maths Dept, Balfron High School, 6.30pm – all welcome.
